Jay and I took the kids to East Texas to visit his aunt and uncle. They raise horses so the kids were so excited to ride!

Our church has a carnival every year in September. It's always SO hot and usually crowded, but the kids always have so much fun, plus it supports our church, so we go every year. :)

Jay and I volunteered to work the Silent Auction this year. I usually sign up to bake cakes for the Cake Walk, but the Silent Auction was INSIDE this year, so I figured sitting in the A/C was a lot easier than baking cakes! :) We bid on a one-week condo stay on Disney property. The opening bid was $100 and we figured it was worth a shot. We ended up being the only ones to bid on it and WON! Soooo....WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!!!!!!!!

Some friends of ours have a boat and invited us out for a boat ride. The morning of, the temperature was in the 60's so we weren't sure about going out, but we figured we could at least go for a ride and have lunch on the boat. We loaded up and bundled up and headed out.

Once the sun came out, the temp quickly warmed up, so the kids decided to go swimming and tubing after lunch.
