Let's Go Fly a Kite Up to the Highest Height

Today was a GORGEOUS day outside. The sun was out, the weather was warm and there was a breeze that was just right for flying a kite.

Jay and I took Truett to Wal-Mart to buy a kite...a Lightening McQueen kite, OF COURSE!

We headed to the park down the street from our house and Jay put the kite together. Truett thought it was pretty cool, at first, but flying a kite isn't as easy as it looks, so he was over it pretty quick! :)

We still had a nice time, though. Truett and Jay played on the swings and the playground equipment.

Emma even joined them on the slide.

Nugs came along, too!

I'm really looking forward to the spring weather and many more days outside!
