When I asked Emma what kind of birthday party she wanted to have, her first response was "Shrek"...OH MY! I was pretty proud of myself because after I cringed a bit at the thought of a Shrek-themed party for a 2-year-old girl, I actually let myself entertain the idea. Unfortunately, Shrek decorations/themed party supplies didn't really exist. So, as we trailed up an down the aisles of Party City, Emma decided that Barbie would be the next choice. :)
This is her new smile that she gives for the camera. Ummm...I'm thinking it would almost be better to NOT smile at the camera until she outgrows this look! hahahah!
We were able to find a Shrek stuffed animal and Shrek ears. She seemed to be perfect fine with them both. :)
Make a wish, sweet lady!!!
Olivia...we initially thought Truett and Olivia would be best buds, and they DO get along great, however, "Girl Code" has taken over and Olivia and Emma ADORE each other! It's so cute watching Emma when she sees Olivia. She runs up to her and gives her the biggest hug! :)

Dig in! Emma wasn't too sure about the Sixlets on top of the cupcakes, but once she had a taste, there was no stopping her!

Emma Frances -
We love you so much! What's not to love about a little girl who could love both Shrek AND Barbie?? You are the most beautiful little redhead ever and we love watching you grow and learn. Truett is so lucky to have you as a little sister and loves you so much. We hope you had a great birthday! WE LOVE YOU!
