Our friends, Charlie and Michelle, invited us over for a BBQ last weekend. Their daughter, Olivia, is 3 weeks younger than Truett and they really do play well together. Olivia seems to be the perfect playmate for our family - being Truett's age, she plays well with him, but being a girl, she plays well with Emma, too. SCORE! :)
We headed over with our swimsuits and towels to play on Olivia's new backyard water slide.
Emma went down the slide a couple of times, but was more interested in Olivia's Barbie Jeep. Of course, once Truett saw Emma, he headed straight for the Jeep, too.
Once dinner was ready, we dried off and headed inside. The kids enjoyed their indoor picnic dinner and then it was off to the playroom! Perhaps Emma has watched "The Princess and the Frog" one too many time....
